"Just received my certificate today. I love love love the results. Being part African-American I never thought I would be able to pinpoint where my ancestors came from but Native DNA solved that mystery. As for the rest thanks for confirming what I already knew. Once again, I love it!!!!"
-Shay "So glad to have found native-dna.com I am now out of the dark. My grandfather told us from the time we could talk that we are Choctaw. I don't have his tribal card to prove it. I tried dna testing with other big box at first I was 1% native. then it changed and was something else. Now no native at all! I was searching you tube and found the discussions and investigations of Cherokee and Choctaw. Wow, I thought. Well I tested the full 28 STR. My questions are finally answered. I am native, as I was told however, many different tribes up to 8 identified and founding the populations related to these tribes. I knew I was mixed with European too even this is clearer. I was always identified as African American which is fine with me. I have always been drawn to native everything, food, jewelry, pow wow and dance/music. Now I know why. This is by far the best way to test. My advice, skip the big box test it's a waste of money. Thank you native-dna for all your expertise and help understanding my results." -Callie |
"This test has allowed me to learn a lot about my family's origins, knowing I was 1/2 french from my mother, a mix of Native American, Irish, German Dutch, etc from my father. Now know it goes further back on Mom's side to a Gypsy tribe in Europe. Haha, I can see that in my grandmother and mother. Me??? Also confirmed Native American from Dad. Love learning so much about all this."
