I spent four years doing my family genealogy. I was aware of my ethnicity of native/european nobility from family tradition as well. My son did several big name dna tests with zero of his native showing. I also did another one that showed zero native and I had verified documentation of my heritage. I paid the higher price and went to Native-dna and the results were absoluately accurate to my years of genealogy research! Finally somewhere you can trust the results! Highly recommend them!!
Overwhelmed by my results but in a very GOOD way!! I don’t even know where to begin so much stuff it’s mind blowing! I’m glad I decided to do this def much better the doing the snp dna test! I highly recommend this STR test!!!!
I am so glad I chose this company! The whole process was so simple: from the time I received my kit to the final Certificate. Chris Lisauckis communicated with me (email) throughout the whole process and let me know what steps were next. I received my final certificate actually two days before he promised it, and the results were mind blowing! The final analysis confirmed a few beliefs and provided new ethnicities my family and I never knew about, and now certain things make a lot more sense. My NA % with 2 other DNA testing companies left me disappointed and feeling cheated because I knew my NA percentages were greater than 1%. I was excited and a bit overwhelmed at the same time, so I contacted Chris, and he gladly answered my questions and more by providing a bit of history and tribal migratory patterns. If only I had read the tutorial that was provided in the final packet, I would not have had to ask some of the questions I did lol! I guess I was so focused on my results. But Mr. Lisauckis was a gentleman, professional and gladly answered all my questions. I know I made the right choice in choosing Native-DNA.
Native DNA was highly recommended to me by a relative that used their services. He stated that none of the larger DNA companies successfully found Native DNA in his samples, and this company was the only one able to trace it. I've used 3 larger companies as well, and experienced the same as he, no traceable native DNA. Since we are attempting to track which side of our family is carrying native DNA, I decided to use them as well. After submitting my samples I realized that I made an error, so I emailed Native DNA... I was immediately contacted by Chris assuring me that he would take care of my issue.... Good customer service is huge in my opinion and I appreciated not only his quick response, but his gracious comment as well.
Still sifting through and absorbing the info gained. Native-DNA's database is different from any other out there. As such results are better for people of many colors. I was happy to see confirmation of lineage I knew, amused to dispel hopeful family genealogy rumor and shocked with a few new revelations. This is a must do analysis for those with any ancestry other than European. Thank you Native DNA for your insight and attention to detail.
