SNP Raw Data DNA Analysis

I'm really pleased with my results. I've tested with multiple companies but only a limited few specialize in Native American genetics. I have a Choctaw ancestor from each of my parents but Choctaw DNA had never shown up on any of my results until this test. It was a happy day and very gratifying to have what I know of my family history validated with my DNA! I also find it interesting that only the companies specializing in Native American genetics confirm my Jewish and Roma DNA. It shows in my admixture on Gedmatch but not in any of the usual DNA test results from Ancestry, My Heritage, or 23andme. I'm very happy to have my Roma DNA, in particular, confirmed because I've participated in Roma reseaerch groups and have Gedmatch matches with almost everyone but had no idea if I share Roma ancestry with them or just related some other way. Now I know for certain I actually 'might' share Roma ancestors with them! Also, I have to add that I was very happy to learn that all I had to do was upload my existing SNP results to this site and within days have my results. It's so quick and easy! Now I'm saving up for the STR test!

For all those people out there who may have been doing genealogy for quite awhile and have family lines that are basically brick walls in terms of documentation and/or family lines that lead back to Colonial Virginia, the Carolina's and Mid Atlantic states and have a strong suspicion there may be Native American ancestry based on old photos and the appearance of yourself and other family members I would highly recommend the 28 STR Ancestry Analysis. Chris is able to indentify hidden Native American ancestry and even determine if that ancestry if Eastern Woodland Native American which I do not think hardly any other DNA testing services can do. I give this test 5 Stars!

I have many good things to say about the Native DNA SNP Analysis done by Chris. First, I have personally found the results to be very accurate. Second, while capturing the main components very well, aspects of minority ancestry were thoroughly investigated and documented. My results included things I typically only have received in targeted, in-depth chromosomal analyses. Best of all, these components have been corroborated for me through segment matches by the large testing companies. Chris is very knowledgable, and gives much personal attention to the results and subsequent inquiries about the results. I've been involved as a hobby since the dawn of dna ancestry testing, and I have great esteem for Chris and Native DNA.

Native DNA has literally filled in the gaps and helped with my genealogical studies. His extensive reference populations allows one to know tribal affiliations and ethnicities missed in mainstream dna companies. He is amazingly accurate. Many of my friends of Native American or part Native American heritage who have used Native DNA have found this company amazingly accurate with pin pointing their native tribes. Both ancient and recent connections are seen in the results. Native DNA has also helped me understand minor percentages received on other mainstream dna testing. The educational feedback when asking questions about one's results is profound. Native DNA is a must for anyone doing genealogical work.
